Each year, the Women’s Fund of Weld County funds non-profits supporting the women and girls in our community. The average grant value of $3,600 has been allocated to organizations providing critical needs such as assisting women healing from trauma, promoting long-term self-sufficiency, providing deposit assistance for independent living, or helping women leave a life of abuse.

Will you join us in giving the women and girls of Weld County a hand up by donating an amount equal to our average grant amount? Or, you can join others to donate an amount equal to half a grant, or a quarter of a grant. You can donate at one time or spread your donation out over a three-year period. Gifts are tax-deductible. Donors will receive the maximum deduction allowed by law.

We would be honored to have you join us in making a difference in the lives of the women and girls of Weld County.

$900 to fund a quarter of a grant (or $25 a month for 36 months)

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Your donation can make a huge impact. We enable women and girls to become self-confident, independent, contributing members of the community by helping fund:

  • Counseling programs to enable 465 women and girls to address deep fears and regain control of their personal lives as personal power is restored. This program is focused on helping women who were struggling with drugs, alcohol, probation and parole, an other life issues. It also helps female veterans and others with developmental disabilities.

  • Support for a young women’s conference for 250 young high school women – this conference is designed to inspire and impart the message of self-esteem, confidence, and empowerment.

  • Christmas presents for 250 girls. Most of these children would not receive gifts if it wasn’t for the funding of the program.

  • A program for 75 girls age 13-18 that combines soccer practices and games with academic language support, civic engagement, and cultural exchange of activities focused on the development of the whole person over many years.
